HISTORY
Bac Thai Metal Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Bac Thai Metal Company, is one of the leading steel manufacturing and trading companies in Vietnam. Established in 1962, Bac Thai Metal Company started operating as a trading and manufacturing unit of all kinds of steel, the main task is to sell steel for Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Company. By 2004, the company had equitized enterprises according to the policy of the Party and the State. The company was renamed Bac Thai Metallurgical Joint Stock Company and became a member unit of Vietnam Steel Corporation – JSC. The main business of the company is now trading in iron and steel, ingots and domestic and export cast iron products. By October 2015, implementing the policy of the Party and the Government, 100% state capital in the company has been sold out to strategic shareholders and has been successful.
With more than 20 years of exporting activities to foreign markets, the company has constantly developed and expanded its production scale, improved product quality and customer service, thereby winning the trust and highly appreciated by customers at home and abroad. Currently, the company has 2 factories specializing in casting and processing metal products such as gray cast iron, cast iron, alloy steel, aluminum and copper with a capacity of 7200T/year. Products of Bac Thai Metal Joint Stock Company have been exported to markets such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Brazil. Up to the present time, the company's staff and employees are around 100 people.
